Conflicted again - not really sure what to say on a number of subjects here.
I'll just list the pros and whatevers, shall I?
Tired.1-Absolutely loved being introduced to this when I was 15. Quite memorable groups of friends at the introductory time, only one of whom I remember their name. Cutting out of school and listening to the Pink Floyd collection - thus farĀ - all day long. 2-There's a post in this blog earlier about Keith Moon, who seems a maniac genius in comparison, but Mason has heart - I'll give him that, and...3- playing at night in a coliseum in Pompeii ~ does it GET any cooler.... literally too, probably. 4- I feel badly about the lyrics at the beginning as I have no desire to cut anyone into little pieces, or big ones for that matter, but having posted about destruction leading to new beginnings, I don't know what to say anymore. 5- conflicted about drumming as it's supposed to light fires inside you, that might be better left cool... but I love drumming when it's cooking.6- So... my apologies for violence and delight at past meets future one night. 7- Still conflicted and posting: who does that?8- The reason this movie - of which this nighttime lullaby is just a teensy piece - is very special to me is that N.S. and I showed it at college when we ran the Yearly Entertainment Committee (mentioned in the Shatner post before) and would sit in the front row and watch it night after night, showing after showing for a week or two on a huge screen, after already loving the song in simply audio. Again... I don't know what to say now any more than I did before. But now there's a post where not yet existed. It's so 70's in some ways.... isnt' it? Remember that time? Some of you?
