by brother and sister team Sue and Pete Hill.
This sculpture was created as a sister to the
Mud Maid which can be found at the
Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall. (Source)' This sculpture reminds me of The
Sleeping Lady in central Washington.
It's a beautiful, nature-oriented, down to the
Gourmet organic menu, as a place to
Stay or have a conferences. It's named for the way the hills are shaped
Behind it, back by the river, that look like a
Lady, sleeping on her side.I suppose it's easy for hills to do that
Anyway, but these really do have a
Resemblance. The accommodations are lofts, some of them
And really good nights of sleep are often
To be had there...The 'tavern' is a cave down, down,
Very cool. And here and there sprinkled in the
Vastness of the natural world are the
Brilliant (pun alert!) glass sculptures

Just in case you're ever in the area,
You can come on up...Where nature, people, art, & music
Come together.
