Now We Are Free

A beautiful soundtrack to a movie I boiled down to one word: 'Devotion.'
"Gladiator" - much violence. Some folks enjoy that, especially understanding that it really happened.
Really happens.
Today. Yesterday. Hopefully not for long.
Until we get it together.
I thought it served the word, and so I loved the film.
That's all it takes sometimes.
One word with all its might and creativity...

Change Is Shmard!

These last seven years when I've been sick and then moved back to New Jersey, I've noticed that Change is harder than it used to be.

They can be little, middle, or big changes - no matter.

Things moving and swirling about... and I not able to be an acceptable - to me - assistance, is a right pain.

It's like sitting in the center of a timeless state and watching the world sped up going on all around.

Being centered helps, but overstimulation seems to get in the way.

Just sitting here, typing and whinging away. Inside, mostly, I hope.

I've heard a new study that says that complaining makes you more creative.

Odd one, that. But if true, I have a lot to gain, though I try hard not to do the whining thing.

Some of the material is dark, but I am drawn to it because it
Goes again from darkness to light
The theme of being... for me, right now.
I watch it again and again.
To suggest a small film of hope, that sums up today,
It would most likely be this one.

As I have an 'embarrassment of riches' of the precious stuff...
But sometimes I don't: like now.
